Wei Liu, Professor

Wei Liu, a male, born in 1982, is a professor and doctoral supervisor, and Jiangsu Distinguished Professor. Dr. Liu is one of the winners of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars, the winner of Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund, and one of the Jiangsu High-level Creative Talents. He is currently the Vice Dean of the School of Materials, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Dr. Liu received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Jilin University in 2003 and 2009, respectively. From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow and Humboldt Scholar at Max Planck in Germany. In 2004, he was enrolled in Nanjing University of Science & Technology, mainly engaging in the research of computational materials science and heterogeneous interface materials.
Dr. Liu has published 102 SCI papers in Nature Materials, Nature Electronics, Science Advances, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Journal of the American Chemical Society, etc. He has been invited to write review and synthesis articles for journals such as Accounts of Chemical Research and Progress in Surface Science. And he has presided over five National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, including National Outstanding Youth and Sino-German Cooperation and Exchange projects. In addition, he also serves as the editorial member of the internationally acclaimed Journals, Materials Research Letters and Green Chemistry.
